We certify

that we have examined Principal Warder Brown. He is suffering from old chronic disease of the eye, which greatly affects his sight and it is rapidly deteriorating. The disease is certainly also affecting him mentally. He has been steadily losing weight having gone down from 164 lbs to 120 lbs and he is evidently quite unfit for the duties of his present post and in our opinion should be sent home.
